  How ROHIV started  
 

The Rays of Good Hope International Volunteers (ROHIV) was founded by JOSEPH KULALI , a volunteer Unit Scout Leader with Kenya Scout Association who was appointed the Chairman and its founding first Executive Director. The organization was duly registered as A self-help Group by the Government of Kenya through the Ministry of gender, culture and Social Services in the same year 2004. We have now forwarded application to the Registrar General of society for the Registration of Rays of Good Hope International. Volunteers as a society

 
     
  AIMS  
 

Provide shelter, education, clothing and food to the rescued girl child from forced early marriages, street children, and orphans, destitute and vulnerable.
To re-unite the street children with either parents (if alive) or relatives.
To champion the interests of the local community e.g. agriculture, school, health centres/ clinics etc.
To empower the group members with skills that are beneficial to them.

 
     
  MISSION  
 

Our mission is to improve the standards of living orphans, destitute, affected and infected with HIV and AIDS and quality of life of young people in the street who don’t have any hope for the future and those of their families and relatives

 
     
  VISION  
 

Our Vision is to is to contribute to a better world that is sensitive to people with needy cases, those orphaned and vulnerable children, and to enable them to live a dignified and fulfilling life, further participating in development of our Country, Kenya and neighboring sister countries.
